Wine History Tours Terms and Conditions
- May 1, 2023
Wine History Tours LLC offers customized wine tours in the Willamette Valley and requires customers to review and agree to the terms and conditions before participating. These conditions include a disclaimer of responsibility for customer safety outside of the tour vehicle, the company’s right to change or cancel tours, and customer responsibility for damages to the tour vehicle.
Lunch is not covered in the tour cost, but we are excited to show you some of the amazing food in the valley and will make every effort to accommodate food allergies and preferences.
Terms and Conditions
By making a reservation, customers release the operator from any liability and assume responsibility for any risks and indemnities. The operator may cancel tours due to unforeseen circumstances and does not allow single riders.
Cancellation Policy
72-hour notice is required for cancellations. We don’t take deposits for our trips, but we do ask you to pay a $100 cancellation fee inside of 72 hours. We hold dates for our tours, which means if you cancel there is another tour we could have done that we had to say no to.
Code of Conduct
Customers are expected to behave considerately and the operator reserves the right to dismiss anyone who appears intoxicated, abusive, or disrespectful.
Free Pick Up
Pick up and drop off are free within a 45 minute radius. A flat surcharge of $50 will be added to pick up and drop off locations outside of a 45 minute drive radius.
Vehicle
Wine History Tours LLC uses a large Volvo XC90 station wagon, which can accommodate a driver plus 6 guests total with three rows of seating. This vehicle was chosen as the most comfortable vehicle in its class that we could find for seating six passengers comfortably.
Vehicle Detailing
If accidents, significant interior damage, or vomit (mandatory) require a detailing of the vehicle after the tour, the tour members must pay the cost of detailing (not to exceed $150)
Drivers
All drivers are professionals and are covered on our business auto insurance policy. Your driver and guide will normally be with you the entire day, but there are some instances where you may have a different driver for a brief time if scheduling difficulties necessitate.
Note: The driver will only sit with your group at certain tasting rooms as many of the tasting rooms in the valley prefer drivers not sit at the table as it can sometimes affect, distract, or intimidate their wine sales associates.
Private Tours
All tours are private.
Group Sizes
We don’t take single riders unless there is a pre-arranged agreement. Groups of two are at a flat rate. Groups of 3+ are based on a per person rate.
Pricing Structure
Please note, we have a separate hourly rate that we use for all customers from the Allison Inn & Spa.
Gratuity
We gladly and gratefully receive gratuity if the tour was a great experience!
